New program aims to prevent falls in assisted living residents

Summary

This study tests a fall prevention program called AL-STEADI in seven assisted living communities. About 700 residents who are at risk of falling will either receive the program or standard care. Researchers will track how many falls happen over one year to see if the program helps keep people safer.
