First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026

Summary

This study will enroll over 3,200 adults in Delhi, India, to understand how air pollution and other factors like smoking and genetics combine to cause lung cancer. Researchers will track participants' exposure to fine particle pollution (PM2.5) and look for biological markers that predict cancer risk. The goal is to identify who is most vulnerable and build a model to estimate individual risk, helping guide prevention efforts.
