Summary
This study tests whether using a portable air cleaner with a HEPA filter at home can lower blood pressure in people with hypertension living in New York City public housing. About 440 adults will use either a real air cleaner or a sham device for up to 6 months while measuring their blood pressure daily. The goal is to see if reducing indoor air pollution can help control blood pressure.
