First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study will check if artificial intelligence (AI) can read ROTEM blood clotting tests as accurately as expert doctors. ROTEM tests help guide treatment for patients with bleeding problems during surgery or critical illness. The study will involve 400 adult patients and compare AI interpretations to those of multiple experts, aiming to see if AI can reduce variability and support clinical decisions.
