Summary
This study is testing a computer tool called pediatric eCART that uses a child's health records to quickly calculate their risk of getting much sicker in the hospital. It will compare outcomes for 30,000 children before and after the tool is introduced to see if it helps doctors and nurses act sooner. The study also asks nurses how useful and easy-to-use they find the new tool.
