Summary
This study tested whether an artificial intelligence tool helps primary care doctors better identify skin conditions. Over 100 adults with various skin concerns participated, having photos analyzed by the AI while their doctors made decisions. Researchers wanted to see if the tool improved diagnosis accuracy and helped doctors decide which patients truly needed specialist referrals.
