First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether using artificial intelligence to support case analysis helps nursing students learn better and improve their clinical decision-making skills. About 42 second-year nursing students will be split into two groups: one using AI-supported materials and the other receiving traditional instruction. Researchers will measure changes in knowledge, learning satisfaction, and decision-making abilities.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
AI-supported case analysis
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that AI tools help nursing students learn better and make smarter clinical decisions.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 42 students, so results may not apply broadly. The AI tool is just a teaching aid, not a treatment.
