First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study tests whether artificial intelligence (AI) can accurately summarize conversations between doctors and patients with advanced cancer about their care goals. About 60 patients from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will have their serious illness talks summarized by an AI program. Researchers will check the summaries for accuracy and ask patients and doctors for their feedback to see if this tool can improve how care decisions are documented.
