Summary
This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system could accurately identify melanoma (a dangerous skin cancer) from photos of skin spots. 105 adults with suspicious moles participated. The AI's results were compared to diagnoses from expert doctors and lab tests. The goal is to help catch skin cancer earlier and more reliably.
