First seen May 08, 2026 ยท Last updated May 08, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a humanoid robot can give memory and thinking tests to people with mild dementia or mild cognitive impairment (MCI) at home. 23 adults aged 40-80 took part. The goal was to see if the robot could collect test results and help doctors predict how the disease might progress, using artificial intelligence. The study did not test a new treatment, but rather a new way to monitor and manage the condition.
