AI or doctor? new study tests how interns lean on artificial intelligence in radiology
NCT ID NCT07558746
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how much intern doctors in Palestine depend on AI when interpreting medical images like X-rays. About 159 interns will take one of three identical radiology exams, each with a different AI assistant (correct, incorrect, or none). The goal is to measure how often they follow the AI's advice, not to treat or cure any disease.
