AI steps in to stop sick Kids' chemo vomiting
NCT ID NCT06886451
Summary
This study tests whether a computer model can predict which children in the hospital for cancer treatment are most likely to vomit in the next four days. If the model flags a child as high-risk, pharmacists will alert the medical team so they can start preventive anti-nausea medications earlier. The goal is to reduce vomiting episodes and improve the quality of life for these young patients.
