AI reads scans and tissue to forecast surgery risks

Summary

This study tests whether artificial intelligence can predict serious complications after colorectal cancer surgery by analyzing CT scans, MRI, and tissue images. Researchers will look back at data from 750 past patients and also study 210 future patients. The goal is to see if AI can better identify who is at risk for problems like infections or ICU stays.
