First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This observational study will use artificial intelligence to analyze stored tumor tissue samples from 400 women with breast cancer. The goal is to see if the AI can accurately predict which patients are at risk of the cancer spreading (metastasis) within 5 years after surgery. No new treatments or tests are given; researchers are simply testing the AI's predictive power using existing medical data.
