First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether artificial intelligence can help teens with idiopathic scoliosis improve their posture. Thirty participants aged 10–18 will receive either standard physical therapy or additional AI-based feedback on their body alignment. The goal is to see if the AI guidance leads to better posture and self-correction.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

AI-based postural feedback

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a non-invasive way to help teens with scoliosis improve their posture and body awareness.

What could go wrong

This is a very small, early-stage study with only 30 participants. The AI feedback may not lead to lasting posture changes, and results may not apply to all scoliosis patients.
