Summary
This study tests whether AI-assisted ultrasound devices can help frontline health workers in rural Ethiopia detect pregnancy complications early, potentially reducing deaths of mothers and newborns. About 1,059 pregnant women will be split into three groups: two using different AI ultrasound tools and one receiving standard care without ultrasound. The goal is to see if this technology is effective, affordable, and scalable in low-resource settings.
