First seen May 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether an AI-powered chatbot and smart reminders can encourage more high-risk adults aged 45 to 74 to get a colonoscopy, the best way to detect colorectal cancer early. About 1,680 participants will be split into two groups: one gets usual care, the other also gets personalized AI messages and a default screening option. The goal is to see if these nudges increase the number of people who complete a colonoscopy.
