AI hunts for hidden drug matches in tough breast cancers

NCT ID NCT07067138

Summary

This study is testing whether a computer algorithm called ENLIGHT can find better treatment options for people with aggressive, metastatic breast cancer that has stopped responding to standard therapies. Researchers will analyze a tumor sample from each participant using the algorithm, which searches for drugs—including those approved for other cancers—that might work for their specific cancer. Participants may receive a recommended drug at the NIH if the algorithm finds a promising match.
