Summary
This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system can accurately identify different types of lung cancer by analyzing PET/CT scans and patient information like age, smoking history, and tumor markers. Researchers aim to improve how doctors distinguish between small cell and non-small cell lung cancer, and further classify subtypes. The trial will enroll 5,500 adults with newly diagnosed lung cancer who have not yet received treatment.
