AI heart detective: 10-Million person trial aims to spot hidden heart disease
NCT ID NCT07308704
Summary
This study is testing new artificial intelligence (AI) software designed to help doctors analyze heart ultrasound scans. The goal is to see if the AI can help doctors identify serious heart conditions—like genetic heart disease, blocked arteries, and cardiac amyloidosis—more consistently and get patients diagnosed faster. The research will involve millions of patient scans and measure how well the AI integrates into doctors' daily workflow and whether it leads to more confirmed diagnoses.
