AI vs. liver cancer: can computers pick who needs treatment?
NCT ID NCT07379489
Summary
This study aims to see if an artificial intelligence (AI) model can better identify which liver cancer patients need immunotherapy after surgery to prevent the cancer from coming back. It will follow 300 patients who have had their liver tumors surgically removed. The AI will analyze patient information to predict who is at high risk of recurrence, and researchers will track if those patients benefit from receiving PD-1 inhibitor drugs.
