AI takes the wheel in the operating room to keep blood pressure stable

NCT ID NCT07314853

Summary

This study is testing whether using an artificial intelligence (AI) system to guide how much fluid patients receive during major cancer surgery leads to more stable blood pressure and better recovery. Researchers will compare the AI-guided approach to standard fluid management in 176 adults undergoing major abdominal cancer surgery. The goal is to see if the AI support helps reduce low blood pressure events during surgery and lowers the risk of complications afterward.
