AI heart test could spot hidden valve trouble
NCT ID NCT06580158
Summary
This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can accurately detect two heart conditions—aortic stenosis and diastolic dysfunction—from routine electrocardiogram (ECG) tests. Researchers will enroll 2,000 adults aged 60+ who are already scheduled for a clinical ECG. For participants whose AI-ECG suggests a problem, the study will perform a follow-up heart ultrasound to check the AI's accuracy.
