NCT ID NCT06887699
First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using artificial intelligence to read electrocardiograms (ECGs) can help emergency room doctors diagnose and treat a severe type of heart attack (occlusion myocardial infarction) more quickly. Over 200,000 participants will be split into two groups: one where doctors use AI-ECG and one where they don't. The goal is to see if AI speeds up treatment and lowers healthcare costs under a pay-for-performance system.
