Summary
This study tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) program can detect hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), a serious heart condition, using ECGs from standard machines, the Apple Watch, and the KardiaMobile device. Researchers will compare the AI's accuracy across these devices in 183 people with HCM or athletes. The goal is to see if consumer gadgets can help diagnose HCM more easily and tell it apart from a normal athlete's heart.
