NCT ID NCT05557162

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool could help doctors detect cardiac amyloidosis, a rare but serious heart condition, earlier using standard ECG tests. Over 20,000 patients were involved, with some doctors using the AI-enhanced ECG and others continuing usual care. The goal was to see if the AI tool leads to more and earlier diagnoses.
