First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study is developing an artificial intelligence (AI) system to analyze medical images like CT and MRI scans to diagnose digestive diseases such as Crohn's disease and intestinal tuberculosis. Researchers will use data from 5,000 patients across 21 hospitals in China to train and test the AI. The goal is to create a noninvasive tool that helps doctors diagnose and predict the course of these diseases more accurately.
