Summary

This trial tests whether an AI-powered chatbot can help reduce anxiety and improve coping in men about to have prostate cancer surgery. Participants will either receive standard preoperative communication or also have access to a large language model (LLM) that answers their questions about diagnosis, treatment, and risks. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety, emotional state, and heart rate, as well as how much time the chatbot saves clinicians.
