First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help emergency doctors better interpret heart CT scans in patients with chest pain. About 530 adults at intermediate risk for heart attack will be randomly assigned to have their scans read with or without AI assistance. The goal is to see if AI improves accuracy and doctor confidence, potentially speeding up care and reducing unnecessary tests.
