AI brain scans could spot hidden MS activity
NCT ID NCT07032246
First seen Dec 17, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether an AI tool (icobrain mr) that analyzes brain MRI scans can help doctors spot signs of active multiple sclerosis (MS) more accurately than standard scans alone. About 750 adults with MS or early warning signs (RIS/CIS) will be split into two groups: one where doctors use the AI tool, and one where they rely on usual care. Researchers will compare how often disease activity is detected and whether this leads to better treatment decisions and patient outcomes over 2 years.
