Scientists investigate why tired muscles make older adults unsteady
NCT ID NCT07405060
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how getting older and muscle tiredness affect a person's ability to stand steady and walk. Researchers will measure balance, walking speed, and muscle strength in 140 healthy adults (young and old) after they do exercises that tire out their arms or legs. The goal is to better understand these effects, which could help improve fall prevention strategies.
