Study tracks how seniors plan for Alzheimer's care needs
NCT ID NCT07361601
Summary
This study follows older adults over time to understand how they make decisions about staying in their homes or moving to care facilities as they age, particularly if they develop Alzheimer's disease or memory loss. Researchers will track how factors like health changes, family support, and living environment influence these plans and whether people actually follow through with their preferences. The goal is to learn how to better support older adults in making and implementing care decisions that match their wishes.
