Summary

This study tests a higher dose (8mg) of aflibercept in 40 adults with proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) who do not have swelling in the center of the retina. The goal is to see if this treatment can improve the severity of the disease and maintain vision over 96 weeks. Participants receive the drug by injection into the eye, and doctors monitor safety and effectiveness.
