First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether people with atrial fibrillation (an irregular heart rhythm) experience temporary changes in thinking, memory, or focus during an episode. Researchers will test 600 participants using tablet-based games that measure cognitive skills, comparing their performance during an AF episode to when their heart is in normal rhythm. The goal is to understand how heart rhythm affects brain function.
