Summary
This study looks at whether experiencing stressful or traumatic events increases the risk of developing fibromyalgia. Researchers will follow 534 adults—some with rheumatologic diseases and some healthy—for 12 months, tracking their health and experiences. The goal is to better understand how adversity might contribute to fibromyalgia, which could help with future prevention and care.
