New MRI scans aim to solve a dangerous brain mystery

Summary

This study tests two advanced MRI techniques to better tell apart brain tumors that have come back from tissue damage caused by radiation therapy. About 42 adults with brain metastases will be scanned before surgery or radiation. The goal is to help doctors choose the right treatment and avoid unnecessary procedures.
