New MRI methods may unlock secrets of brain tumor resistance

NCT ID NCT07461948

First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether three advanced MRI techniques can non-invasively visualize the immune cells and proteins surrounding glioblastoma tumors. Researchers aim to understand why some brain tumors are harder to treat. About 15 adults with suspected glioblastoma will have these scans before their standard surgery. If successful, these scans could reduce the need for biopsies and help doctors tailor treatments.
