Helping young cancer patients plan for their future care
NCT ID NCT07174661
Summary
This study is testing whether educational videos and guided appointments help young adults (ages 18-39) with advanced cancer have better conversations about their future medical care preferences. Researchers want to see if these tools make it easier for patients to discuss and document what treatments they would want if they become too sick to speak for themselves. The study involves watching a video and attending a planning appointment, then measuring how prepared and comfortable participants feel about these important decisions.
