NCT ID NCT06970028

First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study aims to better understand pain in people with ADPKD, a genetic kidney disease. Over 60% of patients experience pain, often in the abdomen, back, or sides, and many are not satisfied with current treatments. Researchers will use simple sensory tests and questionnaires to compare pain patterns in 150 ADPKD patients and healthy volunteers, hoping to guide future pain therapies.
