Researchers map hidden uterine condition through ultrasound
NCT ID NCT07397715
Summary
This study aims to understand the connection between specific signs seen on ultrasound scans and the severity of symptoms in women with adenomyosis, a common but often underdiagnosed uterine condition. Researchers will enroll 1000 pre- and perimenopausal women, both with and without symptoms, during their routine gynecological ultrasound appointments. Participants will have a standard ultrasound and fill out a questionnaire about their pain and bleeding patterns, but will receive no treatment as part of this observational research.
