Brain assessment tool aims to unravel alcohol addiction

Summary

This study is testing a new assessment tool called the ANA to better understand how brain functions relate to alcohol use disorder (AUD). Researchers will have 1,400 adults complete computer surveys and tasks that measure thinking, decision-making, and emotions related to drinking. The goal is to identify different subtypes of AUD and improve future prevention and treatment strategies.
