New prostate drug candidates put to the test in healthy volunteers
NCT ID NCT07444385
First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This early-stage study compares two versions of an experimental drug (AD-116 and AD-1161) for benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate). It involves 44 healthy adult men who receive a single dose of each version under fed conditions to check safety and how the drug moves through the body. The goal is to see which formulation works better, not to treat the condition.
