Pressing the right spot: acupressure eases nurse burnout
NCT ID NCT06946888
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at whether nurses who press specific spots on their hands (called acupressure) can feel less stressed, anxious, or depressed. 160 nurses took part, with half doing acupressure twice a day for two weeks and the other half using their usual coping methods. The results suggest that this simple, self-done technique may help reduce emotional distress and improve well-being.
