Can a simple hand massage ease the mental strain on nurses?
NCT ID NCT06946888
Summary
This study tested whether a simple self-acupressure technique could help nurses manage work-related stress, anxiety, and burnout. 160 nurses with signs of emotional distress were randomly assigned to either perform daily acupressure on their hands or continue their usual coping methods for two weeks. Researchers tracked their mood, stress levels, and resilience over two months to see if the acupressure made a difference.
