NCT ID NCT07340645
First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested whether acupressure (applying pressure to specific points on the body) can reduce anxiety, embarrassment, and fear in adults undergoing a urodynamic test, which checks how well the bladder works. Sixty-eight participants were randomly assigned to receive acupressure or standard care. The goal was to see if this simple, non-invasive technique could make the procedure less stressful.
