First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at whether using an activity tracker (like a Fitbit) can help people in a hospital program for alcohol use disorder become more active and improve their emotional well-being. 90 adults wore the tracker during their stay. Researchers measured how often they used it, their physical activity, sleep, and symptoms of depression and anxiety. The goal was to see if this simple tool could support recovery.
