Summary
This study looked at whether using a Fitbit activity tracker can help people receiving inpatient treatment for alcohol use disorder increase their physical activity and improve their emotional state. Ninety adults in treatment wore the tracker and completed questionnaires about their activity, mood, sleep, and how useful they found the device. The goal was to see if this approach is feasible and has any positive effects on recovery.
