Summary
This pilot study looked at whether cancer patients with head and neck, lung, or gastrointestinal cancers could wear fitness trackers to monitor their activity levels before, during, and after radiation therapy. The goal was to see if activity levels relate to quality of life, treatment interruptions, and hospital stays. The study involved 41 patients and aimed to test the feasibility of using activity monitors in this setting.
