Lung spot watch: new study tracks hazy lesions to predict cancer risk

Summary
This study follows 338 people who have two or more ground glass opacities (GGOs) in their lungs—small, hazy spots seen on CT scans. Instead of treating them right away, doctors will monitor them over time to learn more about how these spots behave and whether they lead to lung cancer. The goal is to gather information that could help guide future care for people with similar findings.
