New rehab program aims to get soldiers back on duty faster after concussion

Summary

This study tests a rehabilitation program for soldiers who have had a mild traumatic brain injury (concussion). The program adds extra activities to standard recovery guidelines to help soldiers return to duty faster and improve their thinking and daily function. About 130 active-duty soldiers at Fort Bragg will take part. The goal is to see if this approach safely speeds up recovery.
