NCT ID NCT07487974
First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether sanitary pads containing active oxygen and negative ions can help first-time mothers feel less pain and heal faster after an episiotomy (a cut made during childbirth). About 76 women will be randomly assigned to use either these special pads or regular postpartum pads. Researchers will measure pain, wound healing, and other physical symptoms in the days after birth to see if the special pads offer extra benefits.
